NC DHHS Division of Health Benefits Provider Operations monitors the enrollment and credentialing of NC Medicaid Providers. In this position you will be responsible for Project management within the Unit.
Job Description:
The Provider Operations Project Manager willassume project management duties in Provider Operations overseeing the dailyactivities of new initiatives and monitoring of ongoing projects specific toProject Management Communications Training and Healthy Opportunities(PM/Comm/Training/HO). The ProviderOperations Project Manager will:
Assisting to identify evaluateand resolve complex issues and collaborate closely with leadership and othersto develop implement and expand new program initiatives.
Oversee new initiatives asassigned to include participation in planning and development meetingseducational meetings with vendor and state staff throughout implementationmonitoring of work to ensure schedules are maintained and deadlines met and tominimize uncertainty maintain effective communication by keeping the customerseducated and informed.
Oversee the development and accuracyof provider communications to stakeholders and vendors as well as effectivecommunicate cross functionally with Provider Operations Teams and all othersections within DHB and the Fiscal Agent
Assess analyze and establishprocesses and procedures to ensure the accuracy of provider participation andthat the Division does not enroll or retain fraudulent entities ornonparticipating providers.
Manage the oversight monitoringand direct operational performance of vendors designing applicableprotocols/tools/forms to ensure contractual compliance as assigned.
