Job Title: DevOps Automation Engineer
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Automation Engineer with strong handson experience in Ansible Python and Linux/Unix system administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating orchestrating and managing configuration across diverse IT environments. This role involves developing automation scripts integrating with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Development: Create and maintain Ansible playbooks roles and custom modules for automation and configuration management.
- Scripting and Integration: Develop automation scripts and APIs using Python for system integration and process automation.
- System Administration: Perform Linux/Unix system administration tasks including networking security and shell scripting.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement infrastructure as code principles using Ansible and related tools.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Cloud Automation: Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Ansible.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in a complex multienvironment IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience with Ansible Python programming and Linux/Unix system administration.
- Certifications: ITIL certification or similar industry certifications related to automation Python development or DevOps is preferred.
