Job Description
Job Title : Python Cloud Engineer
Job Type : Contract
Job Location : Pleasanton CA (Onsite)
Skills : Python Terraform Kubernetes AWS Services CI/CD setup SRE ArgoCD.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using services from providers like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Development: Write and maintain Python applications for cloud services including serverless functions microservices and data processing scripts.
- CI/CD: Set up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track application performance and optimize resources for cost efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including DevOps security and data engineering to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture and application workflows.
Skills:
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like Flask or Django.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud providers (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their respective services (e.g. EC2 Lambda S3).
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Database Management: Experience with cloudbased databases (e.g. Amazon RDS DynamoDB).
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Security Best Practices: Understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
