Title: Scrum Master (Sr. Advisory to customer)
Location: Remote
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a solid background in Agile frameworks strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. We prefer candidates based in Atlanta but we are open to considering remote candidates if they are a great fit.
Client is looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Scrum Master with strong Agile and Scrum knowledge with experience working on Data Platforms. Supply chain experience will be nice to have.
Facilitator Leader
- Sets up and runs team events including Daily Standups Iteration Planning/Review/Retrospective. Ensures team productivity/velocity and time management/integrity.
- Plans an iteration based on available team capacity vs. total team capacity (e.g. considering PTOs Individual Development time Organizational obligations etc.).
- Identifies/brings up impediments facilitates and drives removal of such impediments and proactively identifies/removes potential impediments risk management/mitigation (Not only assessing the current situation but also forwardlooking).
- Coordinates with other (dependent) teams to manage crossteam dependencies (for an iteration or PI). Assists the Product Owner in managing backlog working closely with the dev team.
- Assists in PI Planning Iteration/System Demos (not code walkthroughs) assists the team in Feature/User Story Estimation establishing baselines and driving continuous improvements.
- If/when a critical work item hits the team miditeration engages in effective reprioritization conversations.
Team Coach
- Acts as a servant leader promoting an environment of growth collaboration and trust within the team.
- Coaches team members individually and collectively on Agile principles best practices and helping them to adopt best practices resolve challenges and improve productivity.
- Encourages continuous learning and development guiding the team to selforganize and take ownership of their processes.
- Provides constructive feedback to foster professional development and improve team dynamics ensuring that the team remains aligned with Agile values and principles.
- Fosters a culture of openness mutual respect and accountability helping the team navigate conflicts and enhance collaboration.
Other Responsibilities
- Provides weekly status updates to leadership teams deriving and communicating business value for each update.
- Coordinates requirements schedules implementation and manages postimplementation activities. Develops servicelevel agreements for vendor partners and global resource firms.
- Good experience of working on Jira dashboards and custom gadgets define KPIs Agile metrics and report to leadership
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and frameworks like SAFe Scrum
Qualifications
- Scrum Master certification is preferred (SAFe or Scrum Alliance)
- Knowledge of Scrum frameworks and other Agile frameworks: Kanban XP
- Experience with Jira Sharepoint and Confluence
- Degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred
