The role focuses on developing and implementing impactful communication strategies that elevate public engagement and raise awareness about the Saudi Green Initiative, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Craft and execute comprehensive communication strategies that effectively promote the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative. This includes identifying target audiences and tailoring messages to resonate with their interests and concerns.
Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with various stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and the general public, ensuring that our vision for a greener future is clearly understood and embraced.
Public Outreach Programs: Design and manage outreach initiatives that foster meaningful connections with the community, educating the public about environmental initiatives and encouraging participation.
Public Relations Leadership: Spearhead public relations efforts by developing compelling narratives that appeal to a diverse audience, ranging from policymakers to everyday citizens. This involves crafting press releases, speeches, and other materials that effectively communicate our mission.
Evaluation and Adaptation: Continuously assess the effectiveness of communication strategies through feedback and performance metrics. Adapt strategies as needed to enhance impact and outreach.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication platforms, presenting a unified story about our environmental mission.
Digital Engagement: Utilize digital tools and social media to maximize outreach, engaging audiences where they are most active. Develop content that captivates and inspires action, leveraging platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Media Training: Conduct media training sessions for key stakeholders to equip them with the skills necessary to effectively communicate our messages and engage with the press.
Reporting and Insights: Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing communication efforts and their contributions to achieving project goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in environmental communication. Exceptional public relations skills are crucial, as is the ability to engage various stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
Proven experience in developing outreach campaigns that inform and inspire action is essential, complemented by creative content creation skills, including writing for press releases, articles, and social media. An analytical mindset is needed to assess communication effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
Crisis communication skills are vital for responding promptly and thoughtfully to public concerns. Familiarity with environmental policies and sustainability issues will enhance your confidence in discussing relevant topics. Additionally, digital marketing knowledge, including SEO and analytics, is necessary to optimize outreach initiatives.
Full-time
