Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure tag-out and lock-out procedures are followed when working on electrically powered equipment.
• Ensure the use of all required of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.
• Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamps, etc.
• Regular inspection of electrical systems.
• To minimize disruptions and unexpected breakdowns. Offend perform preventive maintenance task.
• Must be prepared to respond quickly to any electrical emergencies.
• Maintain adequate proper lighting systems in all areas.
• Keep maintain all the electrical distribution panels and circuit breakers.
• LV room- Inspection, and upkeep of low voltage electrical distribution rooms and associated equipment. Ensure safety, reliability, and efficient functioning of electrical systems in the facility.
• Inspect, maintain, and test circuit breakers to ensure they function correctly and protect against overloads and short circuits, lubricate, clean, and replace components as needed.
• Inspect equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
• Report any unusual findings or electrical safety hazards immediately to the Director or Assistant Director of Engineering.
• Check with duty engineer/supervisor for the priority job. Check the logbook for follow up jobs.
• If the maintenance takes longer time to complete, immediately communicate with the Supervisor and Duty Engineer.
• Ensure close the maintenance request in communication devise after completing the job.
• Respond promptly to Know cross service orders made from made for requests, assistance, or emergency work orders.
• Taken the operations log and keeps the reading records by manually and in the system.
• Keep maintain the meter reading record.
• Always keep premises clean and tidy after completing the job.
• Communicate with Duty engineer/supervisor of daily work progress before ending the shift.
• Ensure log down into the logbook before ending the shift.
• Follow all the Departmental procedures and instructions.
• Follow hotel policy and procedure while entering guest rooms for repairs.
• Always maintain safety procedures/conditions in working area and other associated areas
• Understand and practice hotel emergency fire precaution procedures.
• Ensure team work to achieve the engineering departmental goals.
• All the electrical rooms, workshop area and all equipment’s are clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain and repair all guestrooms and public areas in accordance with the Perfect Room Program (PRP) procedures and standards guideline.
• Report all incidents and work-related injuries concern department and DOE.

It is vital that all such information remains confidential and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the company, guests, and associates, unless otherwise stated.
Health & Safety
• Be aware of all existing departmental Job Safety Analysis and Risk assessments and strive to work in an accident-free manner and to create a safe work environment for others. To continuously look for conditions which may endanger associates or guests of the hotel and to take immediate action to correct any hazardous conditions found.
• Be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety rules, regulations, and procedures as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace.
• The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
• Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to hotel procedure.
• Ensure that any accidents to associates, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
• Attend Statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning Fire, Health & Safety.
Be fully aware with and adhere to:
o Regulations.
o Hotel Risk Assessments.
o Hotel Fire, Life & Safety Procedures.
