Development and Management of construction and completions capability across PMC projects ensuring that design integrity is not compromised while managing the department in the execution of the process. Managing and executing the Projects according to the Field Contract.
Responsibilities:
.
Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.
.
Develop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing workload of Construction’s support providers / contractors.
.
Develop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel.
.
Technical competence of construction personnel.
.
Forecast requirement for construction engineering resources and allocate those resources.
.
Prepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.
.
Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
.
Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.
Requirements:
.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering and experience in oil and gas major projects in a Lead role
.
Post graduation experience
.
Familiar with Management of Heavy lifting equipment and large Earth moving activities. - Demonstrated experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry -Must have proven track record in leading a team
.
Pre-commissioning and Commissioning and Performance Testing experience

Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment.

Work is performed in accordance with broad technical guidelines and with minimal supervision.

Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritisation of work to achieve them.
Construction Management: Strong understanding of construction principles, methodologies, and best practices to effectively manage project execution.
Project Planning: Skills in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of engineering principles related to construction, including structural, civil, and mechanical systems.
Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations and safety standards (e.g., OSHA).
Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks on-site and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a safe work environment.
Quality Control: Skills in implementing quality assurance processes to ensure that construction work meets specified standards and requirements.
Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate construction teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues that arise during construction and develop timely and effective solutions.
Budget Management: Experience in monitoring project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring financial accountability throughout the construction process.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) for tracking progress and reporting.
Documentation Skills: Proficiency in maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, and change orders.
