Working days: 5 days a week including some Saturdays

Cofounded by social entrepreneurs Navya Naveli Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty Nimaya is a notforprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the careers of young women with big dreams who come from restrictive circumstances. The World Economic Forums Future of Jobs report highlights that critical thinking creativity problemsolving and emotional intelligence are essential skills for thriving in todays automated world. However access to highquality training in these crucial soft skills is often limited.
Nimaya addresses this gap by offering free training in over ten essential soft skills to female college students and entrylevel professionals through a very immersive training program. To date our programs have empowered over 3000 girls across Maharashtra Uttar Pradesh Gujarat and Haryana. Nimayas intervention not only aims to increase womens participation in the workforce but also seeks to create a multigenerational impact ensuring that structural barriers never constrain dreams. By investing in womens skills we pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable future.
The Program Managers Role
- We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Program Manager to lead and manage Nimayas operations on a day to day basis. This role focuses on managing and supporting groups of learners to ensure their success and engagement throughout the learning journey:
- Build cohorts of ambitious young women from restrictive backgrounds to join our training. Build and manage partnerships with other NGOs in the community.
- Build relations with trainers and oversee program delivery.
- Manage and support groups of learners making sure they succeed and stay engaged. Build strong relationships with learners and create a supportive learning environment. Track learners progress and check their learning to ensure they succeed.
- Keep evaluating the program to ensure its working well and find ways to improve it. Work directly with founders for stakeholder engagement.
- Communicate clearly with learners team members trainers and stakeholders to ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare and handle reports on learners to improve the program efficacy.
- Manage the daily operations of the program of the organization.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the education or service industry or in a client servicing or csr program management role
- Should already be based in Mumbai Maharashtra.
- Passion for learning and helping others succeed with excellent communication skills in English Hindi and Marathi.
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills flexible and adaptable to changing needs. Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities to manage multiple learner cohorts address issues and be able to multitask smoothly.
- Ability to work independently make quick decisions and proactively manage tasks. Open to occasional travel and able to start immediately.
- Efficient with digital tools and Google Suite.
