Job Description

The Static Equipment Design Engineer is responsible for the design analysis and specification of static equipment such as pressure vessels heat exchangers storage tanks reactors and other nonrotating equipment used in industrial plants particularly in the oil & gas petrochemical and energy industries. The role involves ensuring equipment compliance with industry standards project requirements and safety regulations.

Design & Engineering:

1.Develop detailed designs and specifications for static equipment (pressure vessels heat exchangers storage tanks etc.) based on project requirements.

2. Perform calculations and simulations to determine the optimal materials dimensions and operational parameters for equipment.

3. Create and review detailed engineering drawings technical data sheets and design reports.

4. Ensure compliance with applicable design codes and standards (e.g. ASME API TEMA PD5500).

Experience:

1. 5 years of experience in the design and engineering of static equipment in industries such as oil & gas petrochemical chemical processing or energy.

2. Familiarity with design codes like ASME Section VIII API 650/660 and TEMA standards.

3. Experience with design software such as PV Elite Caesar II ANSYS or equivalent.
