Job Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Pharmacist with a respected sixhospital network serving northern New York and Vermont. We provide compassionate expert healthcare to rural communities ensuring quality care is delivered close to home. Our services range from 24hour emergency care to comprehensive cardiovascular and cancer services. As a staff pharmacist you will play a vital role in preparing and dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient care.
Signing Bonus:
A $15000 signing bonus will be offered paid in three installments over two years.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for inpatient and outpatient care.
Ensure the accuracy of prescriptions and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide medication consultations to patients and healthcare professionals.
Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
Registered Pharmacist in NY State (or ability to obtain licensure).
Minimum of 2 years of Hospital Pharmacy experience.
Willingness to work the evening shift (Primary shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM).
Ability to work onsite in Pittsburg NY.
Preferred Qualifications (NicetoHaves):
Residency training experience.
Experience with Epic systems.
Retail pharmacy experience.
Shift Information:
Primary shift: 2:30 PM 11 PM.
Secondary shifts: 1 PM 9:30 PM and 7 AM 3:30 PM.
This is a bargaining unit position.

Compensation and Benefits:
