About the Company:
Our client a prominent player in the beverage industry is actively expanding its presence in the U.S. market. As part of a globally recognized group the company distributes alcoholic beverages including soju rice/fruit wine and beer. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee the entire sales and marketing function while directly driving business growth through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage the overall sales and marketing operations ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Sales Execution: Lead by example by actively engaging in sales efforts building strong client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
- Distributor and Account Management: Oversee relationships with distributors and manage key onpremise and offpremise retail accounts focusing on the East Coast particularly New York NY.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze sales performance and prepare comprehensive reports on a weekly monthly and annual basis.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute shortterm and longterm strategies to achieve sales targets including market development initiatives.
- Field Activities & Market Research: Regularly visit retail accounts to ensure effective field operations and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Promotional Campaigns: Design coordinate and monitor promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and sales.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align marketing strategies with sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry or a related field.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Location Requirement: Must be based in or near New York NY with the ability to travel frequently to visit accounts.
- Language Skills: Fluent in verbal and written English; Korean language proficiency is a strong plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel by air and automobile; a valid drivers license and a background check are required.
