Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Aluminium & Glazing
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the construction architectural and engineering sectors.
- Generate new leads through market research networking and participation in industry events.
- Develop and deliver effective sales presentations product demonstrations and technical explanations.
- Prepare and submit technical proposals tenders and quotations based on client needs.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with clients while ensuring company profitability.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects contractors and developers.
- Provide presales and postsales support including technical guidance product customization and installation advice.
- Follow up with clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction and address any technical issues.
- Technical Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of the companys aluminium and glazing product lines including specifications applications and advantages.
- Stay updated on industry trends standards and technological advancements in aluminium and glazing solutions.
- Assist the engineering team with client specifications to ensure that custom solutions are delivered as per requirements.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams including design production and installation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Oversee project execution to guarantee that products are installed to meet technical and quality standards.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and project progress using CRM tools.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market insights to management.
- Analyze competitor activity and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Architecture or a related technical field.
- Experience:
- 35 years of experience in technical sales preferably within the aluminium glazing or construction materials industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical product environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of aluminium systems curtain walls doors windows and faade glazing solutions.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings technical blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software is an advantage.
- Sales Skills:
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Other Competencies:
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Fulltime
