Role SAS Grid Manager
Location Raritan NJ(Remote)
Contract
SAS Grid Management
1. System Configuration:
a. Set up and configure SAS Grid environments ensuring optimal resource allocation and performance tuning for data processing.
2. Performance Monitoring:
a. Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of the SAS Grid identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance throughput.
3. Job Scheduling & Management:
a. Manage and optimize job scheduling within the SAS Grid to ensure efficient execution of analytical tasks balancing load across available resources.
4. Troubleshooting & Support:
a. Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAS Grid operations including job failures system errors and connectivity problems liaising with IT when necessary.
5. Documentation & Best Practices:
o Document procedures configurations and best practices for SAS Grid management to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistency in operations.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SAS programming and familiarity with SAS Grid Manager.
o Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies.
o Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SAS.
