Job Description
Role Description
This is a fulltime onsite role for a Quality Control Inspector at Southern Precision Spring. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for daily inspection and quality assurance tasks to ensure the production of highquality mechanical springs wire forms and assemblies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete 1st piece inspections
- Perform inprocess inspections
- Prepare dimensional reports for First Article Inspections and PPAPs
- Participate in review and disposition of nonconforming products
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- General knowledge of various metrology devices such as calipers pin gages and comparator
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inspections
- Effective Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is a plus
