Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
The Hardscape Manager will develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for various hardscaping initiatives. This includes coordinating closely with landscape architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project goals align with the overall vision and client expectations.
2. Team Leadership:
As a leader, you will supervise and mentor the hardscape crew, effectively delegating tasks based on individual strengths and project needs. Conducting regular training sessions will be essential to ensure team members are well-versed in installation techniques and adhere to safety protocols.

You will be responsible for inspecting ongoing work to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards. Addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly is crucial, and implementing corrective actions will be a regular part of your role.
4. Client Interaction:
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout hardscape projects, you will communicate project updates, address client concerns, and ensure overall satisfaction with the final results. Your ability to build and maintain strong client relationships will be key to the success of our projects.
5. Material Management:
The Hardscape Manager will source and select appropriate materials for each project, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms. You will also manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary materials are available on-site to keep projects on schedule.
6. Safety Compliance:
Promoting a safe working environment is a top priority. You will enforce safety regulations and best practices on job sites to prevent accidents and injuries. Conducting regular safety meetings and audits will be necessary to maintain high safety standards.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of project progress, expenditures, and resource allocation is essential. You will prepare detailed reports for upper management that highlight project status, challenges faced, and outcomes achieved.
Desired Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, construction management, or a related field, although equivalent experience will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of experience in hardscaping is required, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
We are looking for a proactive leader who can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. If you have a passion for hardscaping and the skills to lead a successful team, we encourage you to apply.
