Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and culturally savvy Communications Officer to enhance our brand visibility and effectively convey our mission, values, and services to a diverse audience within the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investor relations, outstanding presentation and communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Corporate and Internal Communications: You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated messaging strategies that align with our brand across all platforms. This will ensure that our communications reflect a cohesive narrative that resonates with stakeholders.

  2. Media Relations: Your role will involve building and nurturing relationships with media representatives and other stakeholders, significantly enhancing our brand's presence and reputation throughout the MENA region.

  3. Social Media Strategy: You will lead initiatives to boost engagement and expand our audience on platforms such as LinkedIn, employing targeted social media tactics to drive our message effectively.

  4. Internal Coordination: Ensuring consistency and clarity in internal communications is essential. You will work closely with teams and stakeholders to maintain a unified communication approach.

  5. Campaign Analysis: You will monitor and analyze communication campaigns, reporting on their performance to refine strategies and improve outreach efforts continuously.

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various departments will be a key part of your role, helping to communicate projects and initiatives effectively across the organization.

  7. Event Organisation: You will plan and take part in events, such as conferences and workshops, to promote our brand while ensuring cohesive communication before, during, and after these events.

  8. Content Creation: Drafting and editing a variety of communications, including social media posts, newsletters, reports, and promotional materials, will be crucial for maintaining our brand voice.

  9. Senior Management Advising: Providing insights on communication trends and emerging opportunities will be part of your responsibilities, offering strategic advice to CxO leadership on communication directions.


Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a communications role with demonstrable expertise in developing strategies and managing digital communications.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, while French and Arabic language skills are advantageous.
  • Experience with loyalty platforms or POS systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially at the executive level, are essential.
  • Proven ability to implement communication strategies and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media management is required.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, coupled with a proactive approach to measuring campaign effectiveness, will set you apart.
