Roles and responsibilities

As the AI Lead Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions, particularly focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-modal technologies, and other innovative AI frameworks. You will be tasked with developing robust AI architectures that enhance content personalization, automation, and predictive analytics across various data types, including text, images, audio, and video.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead the creation and optimization of AI and machine learning models, with a particular emphasis on LLMs and multi-modal models, utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies. Your role will involve developing AI-driven systems that facilitate content recommendation, personalization, and automation by applying deep learning techniques to diverse media formats.

Collaboration will be essential in this role; you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and data science, to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into backend systems and customer-facing applications. By leveraging your expertise in LLMs, computer vision, speech recognition, and generative AI, you will address complex business challenges and improve user experiences across multimedia channels.

You will also be responsible for building scalable AI pipelines that ensure efficient deployment and maintenance in cloud environments. This includes implementing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training workflows tailored for various media types—text, images, audio, and video. Monitoring AI models to maintain accuracy, relevance, and fairness will be crucial, requiring you to retrain or refine models as necessary.

Staying current with the latest advancements in AI technologies will be part of your ongoing responsibilities. You will explore techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, GANs, Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Rectified Flow, applying these insights to practical use cases. Establishing best practices for AI model development, versioning, and MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) will be key to ensuring high-quality outcomes across the team.

As a technical leader, you will provide mentorship to the AI engineering team, fostering an environment of innovation while delivering top-tier AI solutions. Your collaboration with cloud architects and DevOps teams will be vital for ensuring effective AI model deployment and performance monitoring.

Additionally, you will maintain comprehensive documentation for AI models, processes, and architectures, promoting transparency and collaboration among teams.

Desired candidate profile

Skills

To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science is essential, particularly in deploying LLMs and innovative AI models across diverse media formats. You should have expertise in multi-modal AI models, integrating data from various sources. Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and natural language processing (NLP) is crucial, along with proven experience in generative AI models and advanced machine learning techniques for multimedia data.
