Job Description
The Database Software Engineer will work directly with customers to configure and customize the Alinity software to address complex business requirements. To be successful in this role you will be required to complete technical assessments in SQL/TSQL.
To be considered for this role you MUST be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
This position is hybrid and based in Edmonton Alberta. You will be expected to work primarily inoffice during your training period (about 3 months) after which you will be welcome to work from home 2 or 3 days per week
You will:
- Create complex queries and stored procedures in SQL and TSQL
- Configure custom web forms in XML and Javascript
- Convert data from other systems into Alinity
- Train customersProvide Help Desk support to customers
Required Skills and Experience:
- Intermediate skills in SQL/TSQLand HTML and Javascript
- At least 6 months programming experience in Coop assignments or paid work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Degree or diploma in IT or related field
