Job Description

Company Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated Clerical Specialist / Customer Service professional to support the Clerks Office and Records Rooms across various divisions including Civil/Family Domestic Criminal and Family/Juvenile. This role involves performing essential clerical functions and delivering excellent customer service in a fastpaced legal environment.


Position Summary: The successful candidate shall have at least 3 years of experience in clerical and customer service roles with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.


Position Responsibilities

Performs highly responsible and difficult clerical assignments (e.g. memos letters data entry of court case information vital statistic documents and spreadsheets etc.)

Assists customers by processing requests by mail phone and in person

Entry of court case information into the courts case system Odyssey.

Performs Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Necessary Attributes

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of clerical and customer service experience with strong multitasking skills file maintenance abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the legal arena and the ability to perform at a high level with minimum supervision
  • The ability to meet required deadlines
  • Proficiency in learning and navigating new software systems efficiently.
