We are seeking a highly skilled and boardcertified Head of the Pediatric Department with a subspecialization in Cardiology for one of the renowned hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of pediatric medicine exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing the highest quality of care to children and their families. As the Head of the Department you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations within the Pediatric department ensuring that all medical practices adhere to the highest standards of care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all clinical operations within the pediatric department.
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards of care and safety.
- Develop and implement innovative treatment plans and healthcare strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments for holistic patient care.
- Participate in research initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of learning.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric medicine.
- Lead and inspire a team of pediatricians nurses and support staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Engage with patients and families to provide compassionate care.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers and organizations.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Medical degree with board certification in Pediatrics and sub specialty certification in Cardiology.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience as a Head of the Department.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required and proficiency in Arabic is essential.
- Team management and decisionmaking skills.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pediatric healthcare.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team commitment to continuous professional development familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards proficiency in medical software and electronic health records.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior staff.
