Job Description
Location: RichmondVA
Duration: 12 months.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Business System Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions driving process improvements and system enhancements to ensure our systems align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather document and analyze business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications and use cases to guide system development and implementation.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to promote understanding and collaboration.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Support project management activities by tracking project progress and timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform system enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and system architecture.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. SQL Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of specific software applications relevant to our industry.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data visualization.
