Job Description
OTI Integration Engineer
Assist with the integration and testing of systems & subsystems.
Manage and coordinate integration efforts between Public Safety IT subsystems and the NG911 system.
Lead technical discussions in integration planning and manage the associated action items stemming there from.
Assist in the coordination with project leads and subcontractors to continue review of all required interfaces with the NG911 system.
Provide test cases for SAT and SIT; continue to identify risks associated with integration activities on the NG911 program as well as assist the SDE team project leads and subcontractors in setting up and testing the interfaces in the SDE.
Verify all interfaces in the production environment and subsequently augment the test team to perform all endtoend System Integration testing.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
Minimum 15 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application product platform methodology.
7 years of experience with Storage enterprise level solutions.
7 years of experience with VMware technologies
7 years of experience with Microsoft Technologies i.e. Windows Server Active Directory etc.
Ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
Ability to creatively solve problems deal with ambiguity and a fastpaced changing environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Ansible Automation Technologies is a plus
Knowledge of RHEL Technologies is a plus
Excellent communication and clear business writing skills as well as interpersonal skills
Knowledge of public safety environments and/or experience working with NYC government is a plus.
Skilled in speaking with technical and nontechnical parties.
