A fantastic primary school based in Cambridge is seeking a dedicated and proactive parttime Year 5 teacher to join their team starting November 2024. This role will be for 2 Days each week providing the ideal opportunity for a teacher seeking a flexible working arrangement.
The pupils are enthusiastic hardworking and eager to learn and the staff are committed to fostering confident independent and wellrounded individuals through a supportive and nurturing environment. We are looking for a Year 5 teacher who can deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a love of learning and support academic progress.

Responsibilities of the PartTime Year 5 Teacher:
- As a Year 5 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care and academic progress of pupils on Thursday and Friday each week creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to Year 5 pupils focusing on individual learning targets encouraging their strengths and addressing areas for growth.
- Developing literacy and numeracy skills through wellstructured differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
- Supporting students social and emotional development fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitoring pupils progress providing feedback and occasionally communicating with parents regarding their childs development.
