Business and Economics Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Surrey
We are delighted to partner with a highly regarded secondary school in Surrey that is committed to providing a wellrounded education for its students. They are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Business and Economics Teacher to join their faculty in a fulltime permanent capacity.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum in Business and Economics to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a dynamic and stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking financial literacy and an understanding of economic principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver captivating lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
- Create a classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement participation and collaborative learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Business and Economics department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in business and economic education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Business Economics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business and/or Economics at the secondary level.
