Job Description
Summary:
Manufacturing engineers apply engineering principles to optimize industrial layouts and production processes skilled in creating and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze time motion and methods to establish production standards and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure records meet quality assurance specifications by reviewing logs and processing sheets.
- Approve work assignments based on performance machine capacity and schedules.
- Use charts and diagrams to illustrate workflow and material handling.
- Evaluate data to identify deviations from standards.
- Suggest modifications to improve quality and production standards.
- Recommend changes in operations and layout to boost efficiency.
Skills:
- Strong communication analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Teamoriented and detailfocused.
- Innovative thinker with leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Proficient in creating sketches and technical drawings.
- Advanced ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
- Experience with engineering software including CAD.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering required.
- 810 years of relevant experience.
