Job Description
Monitoring & Automation EM7 Engineer
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite)
Contract
Required Technical Skills/Qualifications
- 2 years prior experience in the support of complex Linux based enterprise software applications.
- Must be familiar with common administrative commands as well as able to write scripts in one of the major shells.
- Basic understanding of various devices in Collaboration Network DataCenter and Security portfolios
- Understanding of MySQL PostgreSQL or SQLite
- Ability to construct SQL statements to query and occasionally update information in a database.
- Good understanding of SNMP protocol. Must demonstrate familiarity with SNMP commands MIBs and OIDs.
- Hands of experience with one or more scripting/programming languages (Bash/POSIX Perl Python C Go PHP)
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to professionally perform and communicate in stressful and high impacting situations.
