Job Title: Principal Network Consultant Data Center Solutions
Location: Remote
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant with a strong background in network solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed assessments of data center (DC) networks identifying and resolving issues and developing comprehensive solutions. This is a remote position with a focus on ensuring high availability reliability and performance of network systems.
Key Responsibilities:-
Detailed Network Assessment:
- Conduct indepth assessments of the Data Center (DC) network infrastructure to identify performance issues vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Develop solutions and recommendations for mitigating network risks and enhancing overall performance.

Review and Patch Management:
- Assess and review existing bugs in the current network versions and ensure that an uptodate patch policy is implemented.
- Provide strategies to improve version control and minimize vulnerabilities associated with outdated configurations.

Configuration Analysis:
- Perform a comparative analysis of existing configurations between primary and standby network devices identifying discrepancies and areas that require alignment.
- Ensure redundancy and failover capabilities meet industry best practices and organizational needs.

Failover Testing & Planning:
- Develop a failover testing frequency schedule and create comprehensive test plans to ensure the smooth transition of services in case of network failures.
- Work with teams to execute failover tests and document results ensuring the stability of primary and standby systems.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in network infrastructure assessment and consulting.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in DC network solutions configuration management failover planning and network patching.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex network configurations and develop strategic plans for optimization and risk mitigation.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in network engineering or systems management (e.g. CCNP CCIE or equivalent) preferred.
