Job Title: Healthcare Social Worker
Location: Orlando FL 32805
Job Description: As a Healthcare Social Worker you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychosocial evaluations assessing patient and family needs and delivering essential support throughout the treatment process. Your duties will include:

- Interviewing patients and families to understand their needs.
- Continuously assessing social and emotional functioning and the adjustment of patients and families to illness injury or other challenges.
- Identifying and planning for the treatment of current or potential adjustment difficulties.
- Collecting assessing and interpreting patient data to identify needs based on age developmental level and cultural factors.
- Providing information and education to patients and families.
- Making appropriate referrals to connect patients and families with necessary resources and services.
- Reporting suspected abuse or neglect issues in compliance with Florida State statutes.
- Developing psychosocial treatment plans based on assessments.
- Involving patients and families in the development of treatment plans.
- Facilitating the transition to the next level of care and ensuring continuity of care.
- Conducting clinical counseling/therapy for patients and families which may include individual group and family therapy.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide mental health education and wellness initiatives.
- Promoting patient and family participation in care and respecting patient rights.
- Maintaining confidentiality patient safety and adhering to department policies and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree from an accredited program in Social Work Mental Health Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMH) or Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (LMFC).
- Three years of related experience including one year of HIV experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation.
- Precise eyehand coordination and finger dexterity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
