Job Description
Position Title: Corporate Credit Underwriter
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in corporate credit underwriting for midcorporate customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of products related to term loans working capital and structured finance.
- Conduct due diligence on corporates groups and promoters.
- Analyze financial statements and performance metrics.
- Understand industry and market dynamics related to proposals and apply insights in credit assessments including the establishment of risk mitigations.
- Conduct site visits and engage in personal discussions with promoters and CFOs.
- Prepare credit notes including specific deal covenants.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and document any deviations in credit notes.
- Approve or recommend credit limits and transactions.
- Monitor portfolio companies regularly.
