What you will be doing:
- As the Staff Accountant you will assist in the following areas in Finance: General Cashier Accounts Payables Accounts Receivable and Labour Management.
- Preparation of month end and annual statements.
- Assists with Audits
- Assists with the supervision and coordination of all the Finance operations in the hotel.
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service oriented manner
- Comply at all times with FAIRMONT standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports and ensures accurate and efficient monthly quarterly and year end results.
- Ensures all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
- Ensures labor management and other available tools are properly used by managers to set and monitor staffing levels and productivity targets with the goal of ensuring a balance between service and profitability.

- Oversees budget and forecast activities and assists Operational Leaders as required through training and mentoring.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Senior Financial Leader with a minimum of 2 years experience with preference given to candidates with hotel / hospitality leadership.
- Computer literate with complex accounting software and other tools such as Microsoft applications and relevant computer applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities.
- Highly responsible & reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times.
