We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geodatabase Administrator to join our team in Taif, KSA. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and possess comprehensive knowledge of various ESRI software products. This role is pivotal in the creation, management, and optimization of geographical databases, ensuring the performance efficiency of our geospatial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Geodatabase Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of geodatabases using ESRI software such as ArcSDE, File Geodatabases, and Personal Geodatabases. You will manage and optimize ArcSDE geodatabases to ensure high performance and data integrity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work on Oracle and SQL geodatabases, customizing them to meet specific project requirements.
Troubleshooting geodatabase issues will be a significant part of your role, requiring you to implement best practices for management, performance tuning, and data security. Documentation of database architectures will be essential, as well as conducting training sessions to educate team members on effective geodatabase usage.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of extensive experience with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcSDE, is essential. Familiarity with web GIS applications and other ESRI technologies will be highly advantageous. A strong understanding of relational database design and architecture is crucial for success in this role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online is required. A deep understanding of ArcSDE and relational database design is essential, along with experience in Oracle and SQL Server administration. You should have the ability to design efficient data schemas, ensuring optimal performance and organization of geospatial data.
