- Research and identify potential delegates through various channels including online databases social media platforms industry associations and networking events.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new delegates and meet or exceed sales targets. Contact potential delegates via phone email and other communication channels to promote our events and secure registrations.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential delegates to encourage repeat attendance and loyalty.
- Provide exceptional customer service to delegates by addressing inquiries providing event information and assisting with registration processes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials to attract delegates. Keep accurate records of sales activities delegate interactions and sales performance metrics.
- Stay informed about industry trends competitor events and market developments to identify new sales opportunities. Attend industry conferences exhibitions and trade shows to promote our events and network with potential delegates. Work closely with the event management team to ensure seamless delegate experiences before during and after events.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales preferably in delegate acquisition or event sales. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the events industry and understanding of delegate motivations and behaviors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
