We're on an exciting journey to expand our tech team, and we’re looking for experienced Software Engineers (Back-end/Ruby) to help us build and scale our product in line with our ambitious feature roadmap. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only contribute to our technical direction but also to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Role Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to our Tech Lead and collaborate closely with our Product Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Collaboration: Interact with the Product Manager to review project specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Planning & Estimation: Prepare integration plans, break down tasks, and provide accurate estimations to keep projects on track.
• Hands-On Development: Engage in code implementation, create pull requests (PRs), conduct code reviews, and participate in testing to ensure high-quality outputs.

You'll be working alongside Michael, our co-founder and CTO, as well as a talented team of web developers, Site Reliability Engineers (SRE), and data scientists.

Desired candidate profile

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, with a solid background as a back-end or full-stack engineer. Recent experience with Ruby on Rails is essential.
• Startup Acumen: Familiarity with tech startups or similarly agile environments where rapid adaptation is key.
• Scale & Impact: Proven track record working on large-scale products that serve thousands of users, demonstrating the impact of your code.
• Communication Skills: Strong collaborative skills and fluency in English to facilitate effective teamwork.
