Job Description
Overview:
The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in managing and overseeing the inventory processes for a specific program. This role requires experience handling large volumes of small parts and organizing extensive data to extract valuable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on continuous improvement and an ability to adapt to evolving procedures.
In this position you will be responsible for tracking inventory used by contractors for projects related to WIFI cable installation and fiber burying. This includes materials such as splitters construction supplies vaults (for electrical protection) and markers. The work is done on contractor sites not in client warehouses. The environment typically consists of outdoor buildings some of which have small warehouses with a few dock doors.
Shift:
1st Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory.
- Perform cycle counts and regular audits.
- Assist with physical inventories.
- Receive materials from vendors and transfers.
- Issue materials to subcontractors as needed.
- Follow all safety standards and protocols.
