Job Description
Citrix Admin/Engineer role with experience in Design. Must have experience in design over and above the administration experience. So someone stronger than just an admin as per the manager. Must have excellent communication skills. A Citrix administrators responsibilities include: Managing Citrix environments: Installing configuring and managing Citrix software including XenDesktop XenApp and Netscaler
Supporting users: Providing technical support to endusers troubleshooting issues and helping with escalations
Maintaining systems: Monitoring system performance ensuring network functionality and restoring computers if needed
Documenting: Creating documentation for configuration management processes and procedures
Collaborating: Working with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions
Providing operational support: Supporting virtual systems and providing operational requests
Maintaining compliance: Ensuring patch and vulnerability compliance across the virtual desktop ecosystem
Analyzing software: Analyzing the effectiveness of Citrix software for the business
Creating training plans: Creating training plans for Citrix software
Optimizing systems: Optimizing systems for Citrix configuration deployment or maintenance
Other responsibilities include: Installing and removing hardware and software Conducting tests and correcting malfunctions Reviewing change requests Maintaining user request records and Contributing to the development of installation procedures and standards.Employment Type
