Job Description
Job Summary
The Data Associate will be responsible for entering sales orders for the logistics team. This is an onsite contracttohire position.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field with a focus on Operations).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain or Sales Operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications particularly Excel with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- A proactive attitude toward process improvement and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities
- Download customer orders from SPS Commerce EDI and manually consolidate the data into a master file.
- Compare customer order quantities with the warehouses inventory balance report to determine fulfillment status.
- Accurately enter data into the system ensuring no duplicates.
- Manage customer order details including quantity and amount per SKU on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure timely processing of customer orders through coordination with crossfunctional teams.
- Submit shipment details and billing invoices to customers.
- Confirm order details validate pricing and handle any necessary shipping window extensions.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide customer service as needed.
- Process credit/return orders.
- Collaborate with finance and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
