Job Title: MRI Tech Day Shift
Location: Sanford NC

Job Summary:
The MRI Tech will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures producing highquality images for radiologist interpretation. All procedures will adhere to departmental protocols policies and standards of practice. The MRI Tech will be responsible for patient assessment and monitoring ensuring safe and appropriate care throughout the imaging process. Special attention is required for screening patients for contraindications to MRI scanning ensuring MRI safety protocols are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures producing diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
Follow departmental protocols policies and procedures to perform imaging according to established standards of practice.
Assess monitor and provide appropriate care for patients during imaging procedures.
Demonstrate competency in MRI safety practices with a focus on screening patients for contraindications prior to scanning.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree (required).
Certification: ARRT Certification in Radiography (required).
MRI Certification: ARRT Certification in MRI is required within six months of hire.
CPR Certification: American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
