Phlebotomist Per Diem
Eagle Staffing Company distinguished as Metro Phillys Best in Staffing 2024 invites you to apply for the role of Phlebotomist on behalf of our prestigious client. We seek a dedicated phlebotomist to conduct blood draws for patients participating in critical studies. This position offers a unique blend of flexible scheduling and competitive compensation perfect for those seeking to balance work with personal commitments.
Location: Center City Philadelphia
Assignment Type: Per diem requiring your presence 12 times per month.
Schedule: Typically assignments are in the morning from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Compensation: $21.00 per hour. Assignments approximately require 2 hours of work but compensation is provided for 4 hours. Payment is processed the next day ensuring timely and efficient compensation for your dedication.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient and empathetic execution of blood draws adhering to the highest standards of safety and patient care.
- Proper handling labeling and processing of specimens for analysis.
- Maintaining a sterile and organized work environment.
- Collaborating with the research team to ensure the smooth operation of the specimen collection process.
- Upholding strict patient confidentiality and providing compassionate support to study participants.
Requirements:
- Current Phlebotomy certification from a recognized institution.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in phlebotomy showcasing proficiency in blood collection techniques and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients.
- Flexibility to meet the scheduled hours with punctuality and reliability.
- A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and patient privacy.
