About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of food cooking and practical skills.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques nutrition and food safety.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Food Technology department and contribute to schoolwide events such as the annual food festival or culinary competitions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for food cooking and nutrition with a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
