Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Reservation Senior Supervisor to oversee our reservation department and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the booking process. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills excellent communication abilities and a proven track record in reservation management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the reservation department including overseeing a team of reservation agents.
Ensure that all reservation inquiries are handled promptly and accurately.
Monitor reservation systems and ensure that they are uptodate and functioning properly.
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and occupancy.
Train and coach reservation agents to provide excellent customer service and upsell opportunities.
Resolve any guest complaints or issues related to reservations.
Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to promote the hotel and increase bookings.
Prepare daily weekly and monthly reports on reservation activity and revenue.
Keep uptodate with industry trends and competitor rates to make pricing and availability recommendations.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to reservation agents.
Assist in the recruitment and selection of new reservation agents.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in hotel management business administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in reservation management preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reservation software and systems.
Knowledge of revenue management and pricing strategies.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Experience in the Middle East hospitality industry is a plus.
