Job Description
We seek a Test Automation Engineer to join a team supporting our client in defining and executing test strategies for cloudnative microservice solutions. You will be crucial in delivering efficiency and quality improvements for thousands of engineers worldwide working on nextgeneration solutions in the mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define test strategy and execution for automated cloudnative microservice solutions delivering efficiency and quality gains to support mobility engineers globally.
- Design implement and execute performance and loadtesting strategies for nextgen solutions in the autonomous driving domain.
- Collaborate with developers architects and operations teams to understand performance requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop test plans scripts and tools to simulate heavy traffic complex transactions and highdemand use cases.
- Analyze performance metrics identify bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve system performance and scalability.
- Create and present Quality Test Results Reports to senior management advising on quality trends.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in a senior test automation role with at least 3 years specializing in nonfunctional testing (performance load backup/recovery disaster recovery).
- Expertise in UI and API testing methods with strong knowledge of relevant tooling.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies test case development and automation frameworks such as Selenium Playwright and RestAssured.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Python Perl or JavaScript.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong English communication organizational and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of Agile development processes and IT project management procedures.
