Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Education: A degree in Primary Education or a relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Certification as a qualified teacher in the UK.
Professional Experience
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching at the primary level preferably with a focus on Key Stage 1 (Year 2).
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England particularly for Key Stage 1.
Skills and Abilities
- Classroom Management: Effective strategies for managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Lesson Planning: Ability to design engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning needs and styles.
- Assessment: Competence in assessing student progress and using data to inform instruction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students parents and colleagues.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
