Our client a prominent dealer in construction equipment is actively seeking a motivated Territory Manager to oversee their operations in Pierce County. This company specializes in a diverse range of machinery including minitrack loaders excavators skid steers track loaders tractors and used machinery. They are renowned for their comprehensive service department that operates 24/7 catering to heavy construction and light heavy machine needs.
As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for selfgenerating prospects and closing deals directly. This role demands a proactive approach to sales targeting a wide array of clients including general contractors builders civil or commercial contractors subcontractors and municipalities.
Territory Manager Job Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within Pierce County.
- Generate own prospects through market research and networking.
- Directly engage with general contractors builders and other key industry players.
- Close sales deals for a variety of construction machinery.
- Provide expert knowledge and advice on the companys product range.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients.
- Work independently to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in machinery sales specifically in the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and its key players.
- Ability to selfgenerate prospects and close deals independently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledgeable in construction equipment including loaders excavators and tractors.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse clientele.
