Job Description
We are seeking experienced Electricians for a direct hire position at company Three Rivers a CNC Machining facility. Candidates will start on Day 1 and must have a Journeymans card or 7 years of direct electrician experience. The role requires a background in working on manufacturing equipment facilities maintenance.
Qualified candidates should have experience with industrial maintenance electrical systems high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V down to 24V DC circuitry. PLC experience is required with a preference for Allen Bradley systems. Familiarity with Program Frequency Drives is important and experience with CNC machines particularly Fanuc and Siemens controllers is highly preferred. However candidates strong in either CNC or PLC experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical work on machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Industrial and electrical maintenance on CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs CNCs Frequency Drives motors and related circuitry.
- Work with 24V DC 120V 277V and 480V circuits.
- Troubleshoot various components including proximity switches light screens safety circuits motors drives and communication issues.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electricians card or 7 years of electrician experience.
- Must have worked in a manufacturing environment not facilities.
- Experience with PLCs preferably Allen Bradley.
- Familiarity with Program Frequency Drives.
- CNC experience particularly with Fanuc and Siemens controllers is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Pay: $40/hour $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Shifts: Start on the 2nd or 3rd shift (2 PM10 PM or 10 PM6 AM).
- Overtime: 2/3 Saturdays per month mandatory with overtime at 1.5x pay and Sundays/holidays at 2x pay.
Recent Updates:
- Journeyman requirement: 4year journeyperson electrical card or 8 years documented experience.
- CompanyJourneyman Apprentice program has a backlog of over a year.
- Candidates strong in either CNC or PLC experience will be considered.
- Interviews conducted jointly by the Hiring Manager and HR resumes must match experience.
