Notes:
- Hybrid: (Monday Friday; 95 ET remote): with Ability to come onsite as required at most oneweek per month to location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage security architecture and engineering integration for NG911 system.
- Perform cyber security and technical threat analysis for NG911 System.
- Evaluate security protocols for intrusion prevention using NIST 80053 framework.
- Ensure security regulations and standards are being applied in the network system.
- Implement solutions for DNS Email remote access configuration integration performance monitoring and security management on the Next Generation firewall 911 platforms.
- Implementation of Next Generation firewall platforms host operating systems applications such as LDAP and SMTP.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrate a sound understanding in the implementation of cybersecurity trends security methodologies and OSI model; TCP/IP stack.
- Experience designing secure networks systems and applications with a focus on security performance and reliability.
- Experience planning researching and developing security policies standards and procedures.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Minimum 12 yrs. experience in a technical and/or business application product platform or methodology.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Cybersecurity experience in a PSAC/PSAP environment working on NG911 systems
- One or more relevant information security and/or networking certifications such as: CISSP Security Network CCNA PCNSE
- Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
