Job Description
JOB DETAILS:
- Position: Cloud Architect (Azure)
- Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
- Work Model: Remote
DAYTODAY DUTIES:
As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect at Top Sigma you will:
- Design deploy and manage cloud services within the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and applications are optimized for performance scalability and security.
- Leverage Azures suite of tools and services to transform operations and drive innovation within the cloud ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle from proof of concept to production.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in cloud architecture and system design.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation including diagrams and guidelines.
- Understand solution architecture principles design patterns and best practices to deliver robust solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay uptodate with the latest Azure technologies and cloud best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Over 8 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture focusing on Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience in solution architecture or similar roles in complex environments.
- Strong background in software development and infrastructure design.
- Indepth knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Experience with architecture frameworks design patterns and methodologies.
- Handson experience with Kubernetes and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills able to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel to the UK (monthly touchpoints).
