Job Description
Our client a leading provider of lighting solutions for residential multifamily and commercial applications is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team.As an Outside Sales Rep you will play a crucial role in the selling process from initial contact to ensuring accurate and timely product delivery. This is a remote position with the option to utilize office space if desired.
Lighting Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with architects contractors builders and designers.
- Collaborate with clients on the design aspect of lighting projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process providing exceptional customer service.
- Leverage your own contacts and actively hunt for new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the inhouse marketing/business development manager to generate leads.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Previous experience in the lighting industry or similar client base is highly beneficial.
- Ability to bring a book of business and/or existing contacts within the industry is advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales with the ability to effectively sell products and services.
- Selfmotivated and driven to exceed sales targets.
