Description

As a Medical Assistant on the Ambulatory Float Team you will have the opportunity to travel to various ambulatory clinics providing both administrative and patient care support. This role allows you to expand your professional network while being part of a renowned health organization.

This position requires a flexible enthusiastic and proactive Clinical Assistant as you will be traveling to community practices across multiple cities including:

Santa Monica

Westwood

Beverly Hills

Calabasas

Santa Clarita

Burbank

Thousand Oaks

Westlake Village

Workdays and hours may vary based on assignments and you must be prepared for rapid sameday response in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Required

Certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant.

Active CPR certification/BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Ability to take vital signs perform venipunctures and injections administer medications and assist with drug refills.

Knowledge of instruments and supplies needed for physical exams and procedures.

Understanding of the symptomatology of common or lifethreatening medical issues and ability to assess abnormal lab values.

Proficiency in computerized patient care systems and the Windows operating system.

Flexibility to travel to multiple work sites within communitybased practices and adapt to a variable schedule.

Highly Desired:

Phlebotomy certification.

At least six months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
