Roles and responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the projects including coordination of technical disciplines and development of project alternatives, and preliminary and final design.
- Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments, and super elevation diagrams
- Design of ramps, interchanges, and road apertures
- Perform quantity calculations project estimates.
- Managing Associate Engineers in completing project deliverables.
- Develop details to construction, detour...etc.,
- Coordinate with project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel
- Assists the project manager in completing the project deliverables.
- Ensures project is adhering to client criteria and scope.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
- Assist in obtaining, analyzing, and circulating technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
- May be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of projects to meet project goals and objectives.
- Design and analyze highway and roadway projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Conduct site assessments and gather data for design considerations.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop design alternatives and solutions.
- Prepare reports, plans, and specifications for projects.
- Engage with public stakeholders and attend project meetings as needed.

Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and impact assessment processes.
- Experience with traffic modeling software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired candidate profile
Degree in Engineering.
10 years or more of related work experience
Roadway & Highway design experience in Qatar projects.
Geometric alignments design
Civil 3D experience is essential.
Must be MME certified.
Familiarity with design standards and guidelines (e.g., AASHTO, state DOT standards).
Skills:
Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation).
Strong understanding of geometric design principles, traffic flow analysis, and road safety.
Ability to perform calculations related to drainage, pavement design, and earthwork.
Attributes:
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Strong project management abilities, including time management and organization.
