Job Description
Clarifi Staffing Solutions specializes in connecting passionate educators with rewarding opportunities in schools. We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team and support students in a resource room setting. The Special Education Teacher will work with students who have a range of learning emotional physical and developmental disabilities. This role involves creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) collaborating with school staff and families and using effective teaching strategies to promote students academic and social growth.
Position Summary:
- Prepare and implement the instructional process for students with IEPs
- Deliver instruction through the use of curriculum materials and educational software
- Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that reflect state and school requirements
- Implement standards for student behavior to ensure a safe secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure clear expectations and consistency
Requirements
- Valid Illinois teaching certification in Special Education.
- Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
